- Submitting Your Thesis/Dissertation Electronically
Before you submit your thesis or dissertation make sure you have decided upon the following information:
- View Subject Categories (PDF)
- 6 to 8 key terms to be used as search terms within ProQuest.
- Have your abstract available.
- ProQuest/UMI KU Electronic Dissertation and Thesis Submission Site
- Publishing through KU ScholarWorks
- Thesis and Dissertation Binding Instructions
- Directly submit your PDF or a paper copy of your thesis or dissrtation to a binder listed below. Be sure to read their instructions and submit information as requested. If you submit an electronic thesis or dissertation, the binder will print it on acid free paper and bind and stamp it to your specifications. Finished bound volumes will be mailed directly to you. You may pay by credit card or arrange in advance to pay by check or money order.

- These binders follow the ANSI/NISO Library Binding standard, ensuring volumes that are sturdy, durable and flexible. - Note: Dykes Library sends all materials to be bound to Houchen Bindery in Utica, Nebraska. The truck comes every other Tuesday and the binding process takes two weeks. For more information go to KUMC Library.
