Additional Information and Links
Special notice for applicants from Tanzania and Nigeria.
Please be advised that the University of Kansas does not use agents in its application processes. We have been informed of incidents in Tanzania and Nigeria where unauthorized individuals claiming to be University of Kansas representatives have taken money from prospective students. These individuals do not work for the University of Kansas and the University of Kansas does not support or condone their behavior. The University of Kansas does not charge fees (aside from Graduate Studies and individual department's application fees) for admitting international graduate students, for issuing or processing I-20s or for processing scholarships.
If you are approached by someone who claims to work for the University of Kansas, or who requests that you pay a fee that is more than what is listed on the application, do not continue to deal with that person. Do not pay anyone the $65.00 application fee, even if they say they will send The University of Kansas a credit card payment for that amount on your behalf. Dealing directly with the University of Kansas is the best way to insure that we receive your application and fees. If you are unsure about the amount of fees you are required to pay or if you have questions regarding whether someone is a legitimate representative of the University of Kansas, please feel free to
Email or contact Amy Quirin, International Application Specialist, at (785) 864-3140.
